This is a PAN Orthodox event, where we invite all Orthodox parish families in the community to attend.

Two Sessions:
1. Forgiveness & Reconciliation
2. Vigilance, Watchfulness in the Orthodox Spiritual Life

Guest Speaker: Fr. George Dokos – Pastor at St. Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Free event for all adults.
Lunch will be provided. Sorry, no child care available.

Donations accepted to benefit The Cathedral Center of Milwaukee.

Being Orthodox On Purpose

This retreat will feature Fr. Barnabas Powell, parish priest at SS. Raphael, Nicholas and Irene Greek Orthodox Church in Cumming, Georgia and host of Faith Encouraged LIVE on Ancient Faith Radio. He is also the author of the devotional Faith Encouraged Daily (faithencouraged.org). Fr. Barnabas has traveled the country speaking in parishes about parish renewal, outreach to neighbors, spiritual maturity and purposeful practice of the Faith in everyday life. His question to parishes all across the country is “Why don’t your neighbors walk to your church on Sunday morning?”

The Daily Struggle

In honor of St. Demetrios, Patron Saint of St. Demetrios Church, the faithful of the area are invited to join with the members of the Church for a special retreat with Mother Gabriella, Abbess of the Dormition Orthodox Monastery in Rives Junction, Michigan.

Reservations are required by Monday, October 27.
$12 per person

An iconography workshop will be presented by Sr. Olympia, of the same monastery, for youth in grades 6-12. Cost: $7 per youth.
